SINCE 1870 Open 24 hours every day of the year The first notion we have of this apothecary is its request for an opening license, on August 18, 1897, by Pedro Canalejo Hernández for the pharmacy that he had just bought at Mayor 23, for ten thousand pesetas, to Manuel Rodríguez Hernández, who had settled there as an apothecary in 1870. Finally, in 1921, the Mateo family took over the business, remaining in their hands for more than sixty years. Currently, Teresa Jimenez Guijarro is the apothecary in charge of this central pharmacy that offers all kinds of beauty, parapharmacy and medicine items.
