...In 1969 the branch on Calle Villanueva was opened, in front of the Archaeological Museum and the National Library. It owes its name to the fondness of the guests who frequented the cafes of the time, among others Miguel de Unamuno, to make bow ties with paper napkins. Its products, sweets with sixteen flavors and chocolates, are handmade. Such was her fame that in 1913 she even gave her name to the protagonist of a zarzuela, published by Casa Dotesio, so sweet and delicate that the name of the most famous sweet shop in Madrid was nicknamed.
