GASTRONOMIC CLASSROOM IN THE MARKETS OF MADRID

The " Gastronomic Classroom in Madrid Markets and Their Dissemination through Audiovisual Media " is a project of the Department of Economy, Innovation, and Finance of the Madrid City Council aimed at promoting municipal markets and highlighting their traditional role in distributing local and seasonal food. To this end, cooking workshops will be held periodically in Madrid markets over the coming months, where different chefs will create recipes with diverse themes and from the perspective of seasonal produce, responsible consumption, and food waste prevention.
In addition to the workshops that will be held periodically at Madrid's markets, the project also includes one-minute reels showcasing the preparation of market-produced dishes by different chefs , which can be followed on social media.
The dates of the workshops and the market where they will be held will be published monthly, along with links to register for the workshops.
This project begins next week with the workshop "Here it tastes like tomato" at the Guzmán el Bueno market and will continue in September with different themes, always focusing on municipal markets.
