This establishment is, in its own right, one of the classics of the Fleming Coast. Manuel Fernández or Manolo , as he prefers to introduce himself, opened this place in 1981
...Asturian by birth and heart, and from Madrid by adoption, he has been dedicated to hospitality for more than 40 years. His entrepreneurial concern led him to Switzerland at the age of 18, where he trained in the trade starting from the bottom. Today Manolo leads the Asgaya Group with 4 restaurants in Madrid, three of them in the neighbourhood, Viga-Mar's being the first to open and, from day one, achieving notoriety in the area for its breakfasts, its tapas, and the kindness of its owners.
Dedicated to Spanish gastronomy with an unmistakable Asturian touch. It is a classic restaurant where you will feel at home thanks to its traditional cuisine and friendly, close and attentive treatment. At Viga-Mar's you will find excellent value for money, from breakfast, snacks, lunch, coffee, drinks or dinner. Very good menu of the day, homemade and always with several options, the Iberian combo, the broad beans with ham or the Galician octopus to start off on the right foot.
