Asturian by birth and heart, and from Madrid by adoption, he has been dedicated to hospitality for more than 40 years. His entrepreneurial concern led him to Switzerland at the age of 18, where he trained in the trade starting from the bottom. Today Manolo leads the Asgaya Group with 4 restaurants in Madrid, three of them in the neighbourhood, Viga-Mar's being the first to open and, from day one, achieving notoriety in the area for its breakfasts, its tapas, and the kindness of its owners.
