...Its famous stews were of three types (from most to least cheap): the one for workers and employees was the simplest and the earliest. The one for students, at mid-morning, included goosebumps and the one at two in the afternoon, especially for politicians and journalists, was the most complete, since it included meat and bacon. Characters such as Ava Gardner, José Antonio Primo de Rivera or Manuel Azaña have passed through this restaurant, where the 6th Generation continues to serve the stew in the traditional clay pot, and served as the setting for at least a dozen films.
