...It begins as a place for tapas and appetizers, evolving into the current restaurant where Castilian cuisine is mixed with modern cuisine. The Generation of '27 met at the venue for their gatherings. Photographic evidence of those has remained in the tribute to Luis Cernuda, celebrated with a banquet on the occasion of the publication of his work "La realidad y el deseo", just before the Civil war. It was in this place where Tierno Galván ate, or where Pérez Reverte's pen imagined the figure of the well-known Captain Alatriste. Three salons inside are complemented by two bars and two terraces from which you can contemplate a part of the history of Madrid.
