In 1909, it was ceded to Luís Montón, who patented the wine brands “el Viejo”, “los Viejos” and “el Anciano Rey”, from which the name of the current tavern comes, which, by the way, continues to sell these wines. During the Republican era, the word KING had to be removed from the sign and the tables.
