There is no outside sign to indicate that this artisan grill exists, but through the windows of the wooden door you can see José Luis López, the fourth generation of this family of artisans dedicated to the trade of putting mesh and cattail on chairs and furniture. José Luis's father, Fidel, was born in 1910 in the family home that occupied the back room of the shop, something common at the time, since it saved housing rents and travel. The officers, specialists in the various parts of manufacturing, were offered a salary and a bed in the cellar or cave. Fidel begins his apprenticeship at the age of twelve, his sister Juana at eleven. Among his illustrious clients we can mention works carried out for the Royal Palace, the Madrid Tower, the Kings of Belgium, the Madrid Casino, the Prado Museum, the Palace Hotel or the Hollywood restaurants.
