At number 12 on Calle Tetuán, in the vicinity of Puerta del Sol, this old eating house was founded in 1860. Its biggest attraction is the tapas, mainly freshly fried sliced cod and croquettes
...The place retains its original decoration, with a curved façade adapted to the structure of the building and a curious glass sign with the establishment's label. Inside, in addition to its zinc counter and traditional marble tables, the visitor can recreate the view in the graffiti and numerous sayings that allude to the history of the place. And it is that, this restaurant has gone down in the history of Madrid, because Pablo Iglesias founded it, in hiding, the Spanish Socialist Workers Party, specifically on May 2, 1879. Its evolution has led to its current regents, the family Molina, to open a small restaurant.
