On the right bank of the Manzanares River lies this 38,000-square-meter natural space, close to the Casa de Campo . They built their country house in this area, which later became part of the crown.

Today, this area has paths lined with fruit trees (hazel, almond, olive, etc.). At the top of the Huerta, there is a viewpoint from which you can see not only Madrid Río Park but also the Royal Palace , the Almudena Cathedral , and, to the left, the towers of Plaza de España .
