Torre Arias Estate
Torre Arias Estate
The Torre Arias estate has 17 hectares of surface area, highlighting its impressive gardens where you can find up to 51 different species of trees, some exceptional such as an oak that is more than 300 years old, some almond trees and pines and cedars in large quantities
...It has belonged to the Madrid aristocracy from the year 1600 to the present. Its last owner, Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno, signed with her husband on July 15, 1986 an agreement by which she donated the property to the Madrid City Council. Upon his death, the entire area therefore became municipal property and at the end of November 2016 it opened its doors to all Madrid residents and visitors.
The Quinta de Torre Arias has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest of the Community of Madrid, in the category of historical complex, by Decree 59/2022, of July 13 of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports
The space is in the process of restoration so its conditions and elements will improve with the introduction of new facilities, improvement of the road, adaptation of the existing garden areas and including new plantings, as well as restoration of the garden elements.
Until this restoration is completed, there are different areas of the Quinta that remain closed to the public, as well as the palace, which cannot be visited.
The municipal staff responsible for the conservation of the Quinta, offers other educational-environmental activities for school groups, as well as for organized groups of adults. These activities will be booked directly at the park address via email Parqueshistoricos@madrid.es .
You can consult the program of these activities at this link .
