On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Forests, the Madrid City Council is going to organize different activities until March 24, such as guided walks, workshops and many other activities that will be aimed at getting to know the arboreal heritage of the Madrid capital. and also to raise awareness among all of us about the importance of environmental conservation and care, although the International Day of Forests - better known as Arbor Day - will be celebrated on March 21.

Under the motto of Seed Week, various activities will take place in different parts of the city, offering residents the opportunity to immerse themselves in urban nature and learn about the botanical diversity that characterizes Madrid.

Below we tell you the details of Seed Week:

  • Additionally, in the Dehesa Boyal park in Villaverde, the Madrid Environmental program has organized an intergenerational planting with students from the CEIP Navas de Tolosa and various neighborhood groups.
