The Gastronomic Classroom returns to the Markets of Madrid with "Your Turn to Enjoy"

The Gastronomic Classroom in Madrid's Markets returns with a new edition packed with live workshops, on-the-spot tastings, and the participation of professional chefs. This free event, open to all, celebrates local cuisine and the fresh produce of Madrid's markets.

During the months of November, December and January, more than 50 workshops will be held in different municipal markets:

  • Santa María de la Cabeza Market (November 5th and 6th)

  • Las Ventas Market (November 11 and 12, with a special session on the 12th at 12:30 pm)

  • Guzmán el Bueno Market (November 18, 19 and 20 at 11:30 am)

  • Barceló Market (November 25, 26 and 27)

  • Las Águilas Market (Aluche) (December 4th and 5th)

  • Villaverde Alto Market (January 14th and 15th)

At each event, attendees will be able to learn step-by-step recipes made with local products, enjoy the final tasting, and take home a commemorative tote bag.

Reservations are free and are made on a first-come, first-served basis through the initiative's official website. Space is limited, so it's advisable to register in advance.
