The founder of this great little business, Susan Kellerman, grew up in a family of American and self-taught cooks. Her passion for baking has accompanied her throughout her life, and she likes nothing more than sharing it with her adopted city, Madrid.
...At TastyCakes we offer homemade American-style baking with local and as little processed ingredients as possible, all and only made to order. To do this, we follow five basic rules every time we turn on the oven:
- Prioritize balance (between flavor, texture and juiciness)
- Use seasonal ingredients (the only way to guarantee the best quality)
- Make the most of everything (We hate throwing away food!)
- Try to generate less waste and reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.
- Always provide our personal touch: We love transmitting our love for baking to our customers!
