2025/09/19

Madrid kicks off autumn with live music. From Friday, September 19th to Sunday, September 28th , SONIDO MADRID EN VIVO 25 returns. This series, organized by Madrid en Vivo in collaboration with Mahou , will offer more than 20 concerts over 10 days and bring together some of the most prominent names in the current scene.

The program focuses on the diverse styles that characterize the capital's venues: jazz, rock, flamenco, pop, urban, metal, soul, and indie will come together in different spaces to bring live music to all types of audiences.

Opening with young energy

The series will kick off on Friday the 19th at El Sótano with Nepal Nepal and Nuevos Vicios , two fresh indie rock offerings. That same night, at Contraclub , Jaime Velázquez will present his album Ocho disparos in an intimate concert.

On Saturday the 20th, the lineup intensifies: from the theatrical rock of Deivydeivid at Cadillac Solitario, to the indie pop of Laura Úbeda & Los Okupas del Amor at Café La Palma, to the power of La Turbo at El Intruso, and the literary rock of Roque at Rincón del Arte Nuevo. Metal will also have its place with Nebiros , pioneers of South American black metal, at Silikona , accompanied by In.nomi.natam and Termogaunt .

From soul to flamenco, passing through reggaeton

On Sunday the 21st, it's Alamayo 's turn at Moe, with a live performance with a soul and jazz feel. The week continues on Wednesday the 24th with Monzo at Siroco, who will exclusively preview his debut album, Starkid , a fusion of pop and reggaeton.

On Thursday the 25th, flamenco will be the star with Andina de Bahía and Essential Flamenco at the Torero tablao.

On Friday the 26th, one of the most intense nights will take place: Leo Sidran will offer a special farewell concert at Café Central, Lucas Colman will present his fourth album , Romperlo Todo, at El Sol, while Era Paraíso and Junio will champion indie at Maravillas. The party will continue at Tempo Audiophile Club with Los Justicieros and Balkumbia .

A closing in style

The final stretch arrives on Saturday the 27th with rock evenings at Barracudas alongside Sin Reputación, Go Faster and Wateke Watusi , the emerging indie pop of Jorge Villa at Fulanita de Tal, and Goma 's solo debut at Vesta.

The series will conclude on Sunday the 28th with a day of contrasts: Sandra Bautista 's vermouth session at Libertad 8, Nero Lvigi 's Afro-Peruvian rap at Hangar 48, and, as the finale, the Italian trio HackOut! at El Despertar with a daring contemporary jazz offering.

A festival of venues for all tastes

SONIDO MADRID EN VIVO 25 reaffirms the role of venues as the city's cultural epicenter and demonstrates that live music remains an essential meeting point between artists and audiences.
