2025/06/26
The event, under the theme "Legacy, Recognition of the Arts and Heritage," honored key figures in the conservation, innovation, and dissemination of cultural heritage in a unique evening in the gardens of the Madrid museum.
The gardens of the Lázaro Galdiano Museum were the setting for the second annual ADN Forum Gala , a celebration that paid tribute to art, history, and heritage in the context of this iconic institution's 75th anniversary . Under the theme "Legacy, Recognition of the Arts and Heritage," the event brought together prominent figures from the cultural, institutional, and creative fields to recognize the work of those who have made exemplary contributions to preserving cultural heritage.
Among this edition's winners are organizations and professionals who have successfully combined tradition and innovation:
- The Factum Foundation , represented by its founder Adam Lowe , received recognition for its pioneering work in the digitization and preservation of heritage through advanced technologies. Based in Madrid, this organization has led projects such as the creation of digital facsimiles of Tutankhamun's tomb or the application of Lucida 3D scanners to record Romanesque murals. In 2024, they signed a key agreement with the National Heritage.
- The Ruiz-Larrea Arquitectos studio, represented by architect Miguel Díaz , was recognized for its meticulous restoration of the façade of Madrid's iconic Palace Hotel . The project was notable for restoring the building's original tones without affecting its functionality, and for integrating science, craftsmanship, and sustainability into a century-old landmark of the capital.
- The Beti Jai Frontón , a 19th-century architectural gem and unique in Madrid, also received well-deserved recognition following its restoration as a cultural and sports venue. María Luz Sánchez Moral , Deputy Director General of Architecture and Cultural Heritage at Madrid City Council, accepted the award on behalf of the project's driving force.
- The Honorary Recognition of the Arts was awarded to Luis Gordillo , one of the leading figures in contemporary Spanish art. With a career spanning more than six decades and a cross-cutting influence on generations of artists, Gordillo is a key figure in abstract and pop art in Spain. His work is part of prestigious collections such as those of the Reina Sofía Museum and the MACA.
The invitation-only evening took place in the museum's gardens, known as the "flower park," where sandy paths, classical sculptures, and an elegant atmosphere served as a backdrop for a ceremony filled with symbolism and emotion.
The event was supported by firms such as Tarkett, Neolith, Hӓstens Beds, Bodegas Enate, Laufen, Natuzzi Italia, Cupa Stone , as well as the institutional support of the Government Area of Economy, Innovation and Finance of the Madrid City Council .
