Temporary exhibition featuring works by contemporary artist Enrique Cavestany, from June 4 to November 16 , 2025.
These three-dimensional creations reflect strange, mutant creatures constructed from scraps of materials including wood, metal, and elements of nature.
The exhibition is a tribute to the ready-made or found object, a concept that aligns perfectly with the world of Ramón Gómez de la Serna's Office and connects profoundly with the avant-garde movements of the 20th century, particularly Dadaism, a movement that reminds us of the human capacity to create in the unstable, and to articulate the unfinished, the process.
...Enrique Cavestany was born in Madrid in 1943. He is a painter, designer, and draftsman, and has had a long professional career spanning journalism, stage design, illustration, and more.
