...It stands out for the baroque-style decoration inside that makes it look more like a palatial room than an apothecary. The rectangular space is occupied by six niches with Rococo-style ornaments that contain jars and bottles of great beauty from the Buen Retiro factory. The canvases on the walls and the chandelier on the ceiling are French in taste, while the back room, from the late 19th century, is in the modernist style. Alberto Deleuze, restored the façade in 1947 to recover its original decoration, transforming one of its two doors into a shop window.
