Madrid markets at Salón Gourmets 2023

Los Mercados de Madrid participated in the Salón Gourmets, the Quality Food and Beverage Fair that was held in Madrid from April 17 to 20, 2023.

The markets of Madrid were present at the Salón Gourmet fair, with a stand located in hall 7, 7E30. During the days of the fair, tastings of different markets were offered from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Monday, April 17:

• Chamartín Market – fruit, cheese and craft beer tastings
• Chamberí Market – tasting of 8 different varieties of tomato

Tuesday, April 18:

• Barceló Market - tasting of fruits and vegetables and oil
• Mercado de Maravillas – tastings of bread, sweetbreads and seafood salpicón

Wednesday, April 19:

• La Paz Market – oyster and cheese tasting
• Villa de Vallecas Market – pickles and cod tasting

The tastings of these days will be accompanied by pairing with wine provided by the Mercado de Prosperidad.

All activities will be led by professionals from each market who will explain the characteristics of the products that will be tested.
