Proexca has announced a gastronomic event at the Mercado de la Paz to commemorate Canary Islands Day , which will be celebrated from May 27 to June 1 . The initiative, located at Booth 92 of this emblematic Madrid market, aims to promote the presence of Canarian agri-food products in the Spanish capital.
The lack of visibility of Canarian products in Madrid, identified through meetings with key distributors such as Picón and Detenderete , has driven the organization of this event. Furthermore, the strategic collaboration with the Madrid City Council, within the framework of an agreement currently being processed, has been essential for carrying out this activity.
The main objective of this initiative is to strengthen the presence and increase demand for Canarian products already marketed in Madrid . Among the products that will be promoted include cheeses, gofio, mojo and wines , seeking not only to increase sales, but also to establish lasting relationships with Madrid consumers. This promotional action aims to generate a positive and sustainable impact on the perception and appreciation of Canarian products.
