Un poyo rojo returns to the 21 Distritos program with a performance as physical as it is entertaining: pure contemporary theater and dance, with that provocative edge that captivates from the very first minute. The show takes place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m
...at the Nicolás Salmerón Cultural Center (Chamartín), in the Ciudad Jardín neighborhood, a perfect venue to experience a performance where the body speaks volumes.
On stage, the performance blends dance, sport, and sexuality with plenty of humor and boundless energy: through body language, it explores the limits of movement and its interpretations, playing with the audience's complicity and our capacity to laugh at ourselves. The result is a piece that combines acrobatics, comedy, and physical power, created and performed by Alfonso Barón and Luciano Rosso, with direction and lighting design by Hermes Gaido. The project originated in Buenos Aires (2008) and has since toured extensively throughout Spain and internationally.
In practical terms, the performance lasts approximately 70 minutes, is recommended for ages 15 and up, and admission is free, with open access until capacity is reached. The venue is located at Calle Mantuano, 51 (28002, Madrid) and is wheelchair accessible. For last-minute details, the venue can be reached at 915 103 751. Nearby public transport stops include Concha Espina (Line 9), Prosperidad (Line 4), and Cruz del Rayo (Line 9).
