The Conde Duque Cultural Center in Madrid will host the show " Dique" on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September 2025, a proposal by Nova Galega de Danza that combines theater and dance to recover the memory of the women who participated in the construction of the Dique de la Campana in Ferrol between 1874 and 1879
...The piece, with stage direction by Marta Pazos , seeks to make visible a forgotten chapter in history , in which 200 women worked in precarious conditions , moving tons of earth and stones in exchange for a lower salary than their male colleagues.
