Timetable The capital is preparing to host the 16th edition of Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend from September 11 to 14, 2025, a celebration that inaugurates the exhibition season for the city's contemporary art galleries. Coordinated by the Arte Madrid association, this four-day event will bring together creators, gallery owners, collectors, cultural institutions, and the general public in a free event open to all. A total of 57 galleries from different areas of Madrid will open their doors with special opening hours and offer a varied program that includes joint openings, guided tours, urban tours, and activities in public spaces, museums, and art centers. The event not only marks the start of the artistic calendar but also an international showcase for Madrid's contemporary art scene, strengthening Madrid's presence as one of Europe's cultural leaders.
