The Madrid City Council's Nativity scene returns this year to the courtyard of CentroCentro (Cibeles Palace), where it can be visited from November 28th to January 4th, 2026. Admission is free, but reservations are required, and the display is designed to offer an accessible and immersive experience of the city's Nativity scene tradition.
...This Christmas display, the work of artisan José Luis Mayo Lebrija, features some 200 figures and 20 buildings arranged in a two-story circular structure that allows visitors to view each scene from any point. The exhibition recreates in detail the main scenes of the Nativity, from the Annunciation to the Flight into Egypt, including the Adoration of the Shepherds and the arrival of the Magi, with settings that depict both everyday life and the religious mystery
