...In the belief that it is necessary to redefine the traditional concept of a bookstore to adapt it to new times, at Tipos Infames we have tried to diversify the activity by articulating a dynamic space open to culture. For this, our premises on Calle San Joaquín 3 in Malasaña (Madrid) have different areas in which to carry out their activities: bookstore, cafeteria, wine bar, exhibition hall...
Thus, in the same way that we have opted for a series of independent publishers and authors, we also offer other differentiated and quality products such as signature wines, craft beers and a wide range of activities: book presentations, wine tastings, exhibitions , workshops...
In November 2019 Tipos Infames grew and jumped right across the street (San Joaquín 6), where a new space was established to give poetry and graphic novels all the prominence they deserve. Furthermore, and to instill in the little ones a love of reading, there is a large space dedicated to children's and youth literature: Menudos Infames, which only dreams that the little ones love books as much as we do. To enhance it even more, we regularly carry out children's activities: story-telling or workshops so that the little ones in the house also have their place in our bookstore.
