San Pascual Municipal Market
San Pascual Municipal Market
This market, opened in 1965 , is located in the San Pascual neighborhood next to the La Concepción neighborhood , both residential areas in the Ciudad Lineal district.
During 2014, the market was almost completely remodeled, incorporating a supermarket-style establishment on the first floor, in order to complement the offer of the traditional market stalls , located both on the ground floor and on the outer perimeter.
...The building's systems were renovated , elevators were installed to connect floors, and entrances and stalls were marked to facilitate shopping for people with visual impairments.
Later, during the year 2022 , the second major transformation and reform of the market began, resulting in the installation of solar panels , LED lighting , a counting system , temperature control , and the incorporation of a gym.
The aim is to adapt the market to the needs of current demand.
The great professionals of this market offer us personalized attention in their "fresh" food stalls, among which stand out their butchers , delicatessens , fishmongers , fruit shops and poultry shops , which are complemented by other establishments such as a herbalist or stalls selling variety and dried fruit ; also interesting is the commercial mix that occurs in the shops on three of the four facades of the market (Esteban Mora, Virgen de África and Virgen del Val streets): bars, photography and printing, pharmacy, bakery and children's fashion.
