The Cultural Association of Madrid painters Taller Abierto, declared of municipal public interest, has held a collective open-air painting exhibition since 1984 that includes original works by around 40 artists .

The Plaza del Conde de Barajas, in the heart of Medieval Madrid, is transformed every Sunday into the Plaza de los Pintores . For more than 30 years this space has been home to one of Madrid's most important artistic and cultural attractions: the Flea Market of Painters.
