It was founded in 1860 as Jalmería, by the great-grandfather of the De La Vega family. It sells everything from leather goods to cowbells, farm implements and jalmería products such as espadrilles and cordage. Luckily, there was only material damage.

The survival of this small business is admirable, which to this day has returned to the Spanish roots of traditional millennial espadrilles, giving a modern and cosmopolitan twist to its timeless pieces, including only pieces made from recycled and recyclable materials.
With absolute respect for the environment, taking maximum care of production and fair trade, CASA VEGA recovers artisan pieces made by small workshops, mainly fashion accessories and espadrilles with a nod to “haute bohême”. The new collections also recover the winter accessories in leather and suede, which reflect the original inspiration of Casa Vega in the ancient work of the fields, horse riding and hunting.
