...In 1927, three partners took over the business: Villaverde, Calvo and Munar. In 1932 the company was renamed Calvo y Munar. Commerce soon stands out for its innovation; is one of the Spanish firms that has contributed the most inventions to the bathroom. For example, Munar invented and patented the bañoaseo (bathtub with a seat) or the polibán (a kind of shower tray, but deeper, that was used as a bidet). In the 40s the company began its diversification. Today it is a leader in the distribution of bathrooms, kitchen furniture, tiles and stoneware, heating and plumbing materials.
