One more year, Lavapiés becomes the key point of the gastronomic map of Madrid thanks to a long-awaited return: Tapapiés is back!

From November 18 to 28 , in this new edition, the 11th edition of the event, all those who come through the streets of this traditional neighborhood will be able to go around the world in tasty bites, because its organizers want to share the tapas with the public of more than 100 bars and restaurants in the Madrid neighborhood.

After its contest format last year, Tapapiés recovers its most popular version as a tapas route , in which the municipal markets of Madrid will also have a presence, since it has the participation of the markets of San Fernando and Antón Martín .

Throughout 11 days , both visitors and residents will be able to taste delicious tapas with exclusive flavors , thanks to this event organized by EnLavapiés, the Association of Neighborhood Merchants, and sponsored by Estrella Damm.

In addition, this gastronomic festival will also have another series of activities that the public will be able to enjoy: batucadas and parades that run along the route every Saturday and Sunday, at noon and at night. Tapapiés 2021 opens on Thursday 18 (11:30) at the Palacio de Fernán Núñez (Santa Isabel, 44), with the exhibition of all its tapas and a showcooking by Pepa Muñoz, chef of El Qüenco de Pepa.

Remember, that as in each edition, the different bars and restaurants in the neighborhood prepare with all their enthusiasm the different tapas that compete for being the most voted snack .
