LIVE THE FESTIVALS OF SAN CAYETANO, SAN LORENZO AND LA PALOMA!

Madrid is preparing for one of the most anticipated events of the summer: the Festivals of San Cayetano, San Lorenzo and La Paloma 2024 . From August 6 to 17 , the streets of the capital will be filled with color with garlands, flowers and Manila shawls, while concerts and festivals liven up the Madrid nights.

The celebrations begin with the San Cayetano Festival, which will take place from August 6 to 9 in the Rastro and Embajadores area. The epicenter of these festivities will be the Plaza del General Vara de Rey y Cascorro, where you can enjoy performances by artists such as Venturi, Enrique Heredia "Negri", Los Justicieros and Tangerine Flavour. In addition, the fairgrounds will extend through Embajadores, Maldonadas, Ruda, Santa Ana, Dos Hermanas, Rodas, Abades, Oso, Encomienda, Huerta del Bayo, Amazonas and Ribera de Curtidores streets.

The official proclamation, which will begin the San Lorenzo Festivities, will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at 9:00 p.m. in the General Vara de Rey square. Federico Gómez Villanueva, president of the Federation of Traditional Madrid Groups, will be in charge of delivering it. The festivities in honor of San Lorenzo will be celebrated from August 10 to 13, with a varied program that includes musical and cultural performances in the Plaza de Arturo Barea, workshops and tournaments on Argumosa Street, and religious events in the Church of San Lorenzo . The closing of these festivities will come with the Fiestas de la Paloma, from August 11 to 17, in the La Latina neighborhood. This festival, one of the most popular and anticipated in Madrid, will feature stellar performances by VICCO, Banda Tributo Sildavia, Rafa Sánchez, Karmento, Kiki Morente, Cool Nenas DJ x Mahou, Burning and Amistades Peligrosas.
