2025/07/02

Madrid welcomes summer with a new edition of VERANOS EN VIVO, the concert series organized by Madrid en Vivo in collaboration with Madrid City Council, which will fill the city with sounds and talent throughout the month of July. From July 3rd to 26th , 30 venues will host 30 shows designed for all audiences, in a program that emphasizes the diversity of styles, the intimacy, and the value of live music.

From tablaos to iconic clubs, historic concert halls and small micro-theater stages, the series offers a perfect excuse to rediscover the city to the rhythm of established and emerging artists. Rock, flamenco, jazz, pop, hip hop, soul, theater, and hybrid offerings will coexist in an event packed with emotion.

A vibrant and eclectic start

The event kicks off on Thursday , July 3rd at Independance with Dib 's debut album, FOCUZ , packed with urban sounds and contemporary pop. That same night, the tropical energy of the Meridian Brothers will take over the Villanos venue with their psychedelic cumbia. The weekend continues with diverse offerings such as the Brazilian jazz of Joabe Reis (Tempo Audiophile Club), the underground hip hop of Gold Session Vol. 9 (Contraclub), and the post-grunge of Before My Time and Onirya (El Perro de la Parte de Atrás del Coche).

There will be no shortage of theater: the play “ Honeymoon ” will be performed at Microteatro on Friday the 4th , opening the way to a program that also reserves space for more intimate dramatic scenes.

Beyond the concert: styles for everyone

Among the highlights of this edition are the blues power of DK Harrel (Clamores), the nostalgic tango of Julieta Laso (Café Berlín), the jazzy spectacle of Sheila Blanco and Julián Olivares (Café Central), and the punk power of Killer Kin (Gruta 77). There will also be flamenco offerings such as Essential Flamenco (Tablao Torero) or the art of Juañares and Israel Cerreduela at Candela, with free admission.

Great names and discoveries

The cycle advances with gems such as multi-instrumentalist Brittani , who has accompanied Beyoncé, in Moby Dick (July 25), or the explosion of doom and stoner rock by Trasmoth in Barracudas, which will close the cycle on Saturday, July 26 . There will also be room for extreme metal (Pentagram, July 20 at Silikona), soul, indie pop, and experimental jazz from the hand of saxophonist Andrew Pereira .

A month to experience music like never before

VERANOS EN VIVO 2025 consolidates Madrid's status as a vibrant city, where music never takes a vacation. This series not only celebrates the end of the musical year, but also reinforces the venues' commitment to the local cultural fabric, the discovery of new artists, and the experience of live music as a way of meeting people.
