Madrid is preparing to welcome summer with a burst of live music thanks to the new edition of VERANOS EN VIVO 2024. From Wednesday, July 3 to Saturday, July 27 , 31 venues in the city will be the setting for a series of concerts that, with With the support of the Madrid City Council, it will offer an unparalleled musical experience.
A Month of Uninterrupted Music
Throughout the month of July, live music will be the protagonist in the halls and tablaos of Madrid. Madrid en Vivo, in collaboration with the City Council, has organized this edition of VERANOS EN VIVO to promote the local music scene and offer the public the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of musical styles. From rock and jazz concerts to flamenco shows and microtheater, the programming is as diverse as it is exciting.
Opening with Flamenco and Microtheater
The opening of the cycle will be on Wednesday, July 3, with two unmissable proposals: the microtheater play "Antes del Amanecer" and the show "Essential Flamenco" at the Tablao Torero. Starting on Thursday, July 4, music will take over with a performance by Brazilian trombonist Joabe Reis at Tempo Audiophile Club and the group Iberia Sumergida at El Sol.
A Weekend Full of Rhythm
The first weekend of VERANOS LIVE promises to be intense. On Friday, July 5, Dos Hamacas will be presented at the BarCo, Mayo Melvin at the Café La Palma, Juan Miñano in Rockville and Javier Batanero with Begoña Larrañaga at the Rincón del Arte Nuevo. Saturday, July 6, will feature a performance by Mäbu at Galileo Galilei, Los Petersellers at Gruta 77 and A-Temporal at Contraclub. On Sunday, July 7, Lau Noah will close the week with his lyricism at Café Central.
The Musical Festival continues
The second week starts strong with Teresa Pejenaute in Búho Real and Tia Carrol in El Intruso on Monday, July 8. On Thursday, July 11, dancer Belén López will perform at Café Berlin, accompanied by Barullo, while Funk Mechanicae will be at Moe. On Friday the 12th, the programming includes Final Feliz in Cadavra, Luciano González Trío in El Despertar and Vacaciones Permanentes + Me Dais Poca in Fotomatón. Saturday, July 13 promises with Defecto Venturi + Gazelle Thomson in Maravillas, Rayo Stoned in Thundercat, Los Ziggys in Hangar 48 and Katovit + Robot Emilio in The Dog in the Back of the Car.
The Grand Finale of VERANOS LIVE 2024
The last weeks of July will not be left behind. On Wednesday, July 17, Paula Moreno will present a flamenco show at Cardamomo, while Alber Solo & The Firebird Blues will bring the blues to Honky Tonk. On Thursday the 18th, the duo Mark and Jessie will perform at Big Mama Ballroom. On Friday the 19th, Dellacruz will appear in Fulanita de Tal, along with Diapausa, Blanca Mudel and Susx in Moby Dick. On Saturday the 20th, El Señor Que Te Molesta will perform at El Sótano.
To close the cycle, Paula Rodríguez will offer one last flamenco show at the Tablao 1911 on Wednesday, July 24. Finally, on Saturday, July 27, Fortuna's rock will put the icing on the cake at VERANOS EN VIVO 2024 at Siroco.
