UVNT Art Fair and Las Rozas Village come together for the second consecutive year to reinforce their commitment to New Contemporary Art. On this occasion , UVNT ART FAIR X LAS ROZAS VILLAGE draws a new axis of art from the center of Madrid to Las Rozas Village, reinforcing its commitment to creating a Public Art Program.

Madrid's Gran Vía hosts the sculptures of the artists Albert Pinya (Gran Vía with Montera), Avelino Sala (Plaza de Callao) and Yann Leto (Gran Vía with Alcalá) in different locations, from February 13 to 26, thanks also to the collaboration of Madrid Capital de Moda and Everything is in Madrid.

In Las Rozas Village , starting in February and in stages, six artists will intervene on the facades and boulevards with floral, textile, digital, ceramic and mural installations, creating a particular dialogue between art and fashion.

Art Meets Fashion is precisely the starting point with which the six artists that are part of UVNT ART FAIR X LAS ROZAS VILLAGE will create site-specific works of art, following different techniques and disciplines, for their interaction with a very specific space. such as some of the façades of the different buildings that make up the Village, the walls that delimit the spaces, the boulevards around which the boutiques are articulated or some architectural elements such as porches or access areas.

The selection of artists that will intervene this year in Las Rozas Village, transforming it into an art gallery during the month of February
outdoors, are: AkaCorleone, Cachetejack, Casa Antillón, Gema Polanco, Kokon by Ma Eugenia Diego and Paula Valdeón.

UVNT ART FAIR X LAS ROZAS VILLAGE expands with a digital street art program in more than 100 canopies with high-definition screens by JCDecaux that are located in the main visual axes of the city. "Living" canvases that will show the new creativity of seven young artists who are drawing the new language of art thanks to 3D animation, motion graphics, the video clip...

Actual Objects, Andrei Warren, Filip Custic, Nicole Ruggiero, Pablo Aragón, Tokyo Tommy, Marta Ochoa and Pablo Aragón is a new generation of creators –national and international– who, making use of new digital tools, even take us to the physical plane , from a more expressionist or naive style to something more realistic and editorial. UVNT Art Fair was a pioneer –three years ago– in bringing digital art to new audiences through the marquees.

sum of talents

Born as a platform for the dissemination of New Contemporary Art, UVNT Art Fair has become the benchmark for discovering the latest art. Since its inception, the objective of the UVNT Art Fair has been to vindicate various languages in popular culture which, since its appearance, has established a new dialogue with modernity, reinforcing the current artistic scene. In this way, the different editions of the fair (which this year is held from February 23 to 26 at the COAM) value artistic expressions that emerged in urban contexts from the 1970s onwards, such as post-graffiti, surrealist pop or the new pop art.

Following this philosophy, UVNT ART FAIR X LAS ROZAS VILLAGE is reinforced by its commitment to public art and to becoming an extension of the fair, breaking down its walls and invading the streets, giving free rein to artistic expression.

UVNT ART FAIR X LAS ROZAS VILLAGE is a project that reinforces the constant support of Las Rozas Village and The Bicester Collection for art, talent and creativity, creating scenarios and environments where emerging talent can develop their work as part of their creative evolution .

Committee of Experts

UVNT ART FAIR X LAS ROZAS VILLAGE is a long-standing talent support project. For six months, the Village will display the works of the aforementioned artists, but one of them will have the opportunity to exhibit his work individually in autumn 2023.

A committee of Experts, made up of different personalities linked to the world of art, will be in charge of choosing the artist for this edition.

ABOUT UVNT ART FAIR

UVNT Art Fair has become the reference to know the most current art. Since its inception, the objective of the fair was – and continues to be – to claim new and diverse languages in contemporary creation, without leaving any artistic manifestation in the way. It was the first fair to open up to New Contemporary Art, that current that brings together expressions that emerged in urban contexts from the 70s onwards, such as post-graffiti, surrealist pop or new pop art. In their five years they have been pioneers in new disciplines such as digital art or, more recently, NFTs.

More than 350 artists from the five continents have shown their work at the fair. Among the most popular, Banksy, JerkFace
or D*Face. Throughout the different editions, artists such as Ana Barriga, Marria Pratts, Javi Calleja, Edgar Plans, Robi Dwi Antono, Albert Pinya, Cesc Abad, Filip Custic, Imon Boy, Nuria Mora, James Rielly, Rafa Macarrón, Julio have also participated. Anaya Cabanding, Wasted Rita, Paco Pomet, Grip Face or Flavia Junqueira.
