This week 'Everything is in Madrid' ( todoestaenmadrid.com ) was presented, a digital guide to Madrid's trade, hospitality, hotel establishments and services that will turn the city's 8,000 canopies into georeferenced information points for all of its offerings.

As explained by the municipal spokesperson, Inmaculada Sanz, todoestaenmadrid.com is a web page that gives visibility to all the establishments in the city , allowing their classification by activity, commercial area and neighborhoods, as well as their georeferenced search. Interested businesses and platforms can register in an agile and simple way in this guide that also allows access from each establishment's file to its e-commerce channel, facilitating online purchases in local stores.

For the dissemination of the digital guide, an innovative campaign is being prepared that consists of converting all the city's canopies into information points for the commercial offer and services in their surroundings.

A BIDI code will be installed in the canopies that will allow people who capture it and have georeferencing activated on their mobile devices, immediate access to the website and the map of all the affiliated establishments, highlighting those in the immediate radius of influence to each of the city's canopies, as well as, if they wish, the connection to their e-commerce channels and social networks. The company JCDecaux, a collaborator of the City Council to be able to carry out this action, is already working to export the Madrid initiative to other European capitals.

With this project, which also has the collaboration of the Environment and Mobility Area and the Municipal Transport Company, an important step will be taken in fulfilling the commitments of the Government team included in the Agreements of the Town and those of the plenary sessions of the districts related to the promotion and digitization of Madrid's trade and hospitality . In addition, the use of public transport will be encouraged to travel to all the commercial areas and axes that make up the varied commercial network of Madrid.
