2026/03/17
Chico César will perform a solo concert as part of the commemorative tour for Aos Vivos (1995), his debut album, thirty years after its release. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Center in Tetuán (Almenara neighborhood).
The recital is conceived as a complete performance of the album Aos Vivos, along with other representative pieces from their career. Tracks such as “Beradêro” (with references to traditional songs from the interior of Paraíba) and songs associated with the album's impact, such as “Mama África” and “À Primeira Vista,” as well as other pieces like “Saharienne” and “Mulher Eu Sei o Clandestino,” are featured, and the program also includes versions of classics by composers such as Luiz Gonzaga, Humberto Teixeira, and André Abujamra.
In practical terms, the performance lasts approximately 105 minutes and admission is free, with entry on a first-come, first-served basis. The venue is located at Plaza de Donoso, 5 (28029, Madrid) and the event is wheelchair accessible. For more information, please call 917 337 249.
