2025/07/08
From July 10th to July 21st, the Eugenio Trías Municipal Library – Casa de Fieras , located in El Retiro Park, will host the Talent Lab. CSDMM-UPM Fashion Students Showcases 2025 exhibition, a showcase of emerging voices in fashion design in Spain. The project, a collaboration between Madrid City Council and the Madrid Center for Fashion Design (CSDMM-UPM), allows the public to discover the most innovative creations of the university's students.
The exhibition presents unique pieces designed, patterned and made by the students themselves during the academic year. Under the creative and technical direction of renowned designers such as Juan Vidal , Miguel Becer (MANÉ MANÉ) , David Salvador and Juan Zunzunegui (HABEY) , Evangelina Julia (Evade House) , Daniel Rabaneda and Carlota Barrera , the young creators explore new aesthetic paths with a clear commitment to sustainability , circularity and innovation .
Talent Lab thus consolidates its position as a platform for promoting emerging talent, turning design into a tool for expressing identity, critical thinking, and a commitment to the future. In addition to celebrating the value of artistic education at the university level, the exhibition offers a first-hand look at the direction fashion design is heading in Spain.
Admission is free and open to the public. The exhibition can be visited Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Eugenio Trías Library , located at Paseo de Fernán Núñez, 24 , in Retiro Park.
