Sonido Madrid en Vivo is a new musical festival that was born from and for the concert halls of Madrid. It will take place between December 24 and 16 and will include 21 concerts in 21 different venues in the capital, discover them on this route . The Sonido Madrid en Vivo festival is an intergenerational musical showcase that highlights the quality and variety of the current scene. All this is welcomed and promoted by Madrid en Vivo , the association of concert halls in Madrid, which has recently presented its new website and its new brand , after more than 20 years of associative trajectory as La Noche en Vivo . This festival is also a sister project with the Sonido Madrid photographic exhibition , organized by the Madrid City Council , which will be inaugurated at the end of November at the Serrería Belga Cultural Space.

The opening day on November 24 will present two outstanding jazz proposals such as Nathalie Braux & Raquel Vega at El Despertar , and Natalia Calderón & Sebastián Chames at Café Central ; that contrast with the youth and spontaneity of two emerging bands: Nothinggood and Kanai in Hangar 48 . During the first weekend the rock scene will take center stage with concerts such as Dirty Rule and Mamvth at The Dog in the Back of the Car or Nomad and Astrohban in Rockville . As Sonido Madrid intends to show the range of sounds and styles of our city, Dolora will put the electronic note in Fulanita de Tal , in contrast to the infallible jazz of the Canal Street Jazz Band in Clamores. The festival hosts more intimate and highly promising proposals such as those by Jorge Prada in El Sótano and Carlos Gris in Vesta, which closes in November.

December begins with one of the most popular names in Sonido Madrid: Rakky Ripper , the singer participating in Benidorm Fest, will show her live show at Café La Palma. And in the eclectic musical showcase that is Sonido Madrid en Vivo, there is room for the blues fusion of Osi & Los Osidados in Rock Palace , the emerging rock of Zisne Blanco in Cadillac Solitario , the American sound of Luback in Siroco, the soulful virtuosity of Slide funk at Tempo Audiophile Club or the impeccable Entre Amigos Jazz Band at Moe.

The festival also gives space to cover bands, essential in the live music circuit of any city, such as: the alternative rock hits of Los Players (Cadavra) or the blues-rock-soul reinterpretation of classics by Elena & Brothers (Counterclub) . But highlighting, of course, some of the young projects that have been causing the most talk in recent months due to their originality: Blue Bizarre and Suko Pyramid , who will demonstrate the genuineness of their music in Maravillas, the impressive instrumentation of the nine members of The Clams at El Intruso or the proposals by Hyper3st at El Sol with the extravagance of hyper-pop by artists like Veguin, Cozko, Marksicko, Ihustler and many more. Giving space to these new trends in pop music, Lo Siento, Miguel, one of those bands that is rising like foam, will be one of those in charge of closing Sonido Madrid en Vivo with their concert at Independance.
