PHotoESPAÑA celebrates its 29th edition in 2026 , firmly established as one of the leading international photography festivals . Under the theme “Reimagining,” the festival will bring together more than one hundred exhibitions at various venues , with a program focused on creativity, experimentation, and the evolution of photographic language .

The 2026 edition proposes to rethink the role of the image in a context marked by technological and cultural transformation , betting on new narratives that cross photography with disciplines such as video, installation or digital media .

The festival will once again transform Madrid into the epicenter of contemporary photography , extending its reach to other cities and reinforcing its international character .
