NEW CALL FOR GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE PARTICIPATION OF DESIGNERS IN MADRID FASHION WEEK AND SIMILAR EVENTS

The delegate of the government area of Economy, Innovation and Employment, by his decree of April 24, 2023, has approved the public call for subsidies to support the participation of designers in the Madrid Fashion Week corresponding to the year 2023.
The purpose of this call is to encourage the participation of designers in Madrid Fashion Week or in similar events that contribute to positioning Madrid as the Fashion Capital.
Fashion designers may obtain the status of beneficiary of this subsidy, whether natural or legal persons, who, by the end of the application submission period, have made presentations of their creations and collections, both in person and digitally, at:
- The official calendar of Madrid Fashion Week, either on the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week catwalk or at the Madrid es Moda event at any of its locations, held during the period between January 1 and August 31 of 2023.
- In any other event or action of a similar nature held in the city of Madrid during the period between January 1 and August 31, 2023, which due to its media repercussion and economic impact in the sector contributes to reinforcing the image of Madrid as fashion capital.
The credit allocated to this call for aid amounts to 385,000 euros, and can be increased up to 885,000, in case of demand and availability of credit.
The deadline for submitting applications will be between September 1 and 15, 2023, both days included.
