“CRYSTAL CHRISTMAS” TRANSFORMS THE CONDEDUQUE CENTER INTO A DIGITAL WINTER LANDSCAPE
2024/12/27

From December 26 to 30, the Condeduque Contemporary Culture Center will host a unique Christmas installation entitled “ Christmas of Crystal” , created by renowned digital artist Miguel Chevalier .

This work transforms the Central Courtyard into a winter landscape of crystals and fractal structures, offering visitors an immersive and visually stunning experience as part of this year's Christmas programming.

Inspired by the geometry and complexity of snowflakes, Chevalier uses advanced technology and artificial intelligence to create a visual choreography in which digital crystals are born, rotate and fade in real time.

The installation responds to the movement of visitors, making each step create iridescent reflections , allowing the public to become an active part of this reinvented nature.

Chevalier, an internationally recognized pioneer of digital art, is known for his immersive installations that challenge perceptions of the natural world. For decades, he has explored the shapes and patterns of nature through digital media, reinterpreting organic beauty in the virtual realm.

With free admission, Christmas of Crystal” invites Madrid residents and tourists to immerse themselves in a digital landscape that redefines Christmas. For more information, visit the website of the Condeduque Contemporary Culture Centre .
