WOMEN LIVE 2024: Female talent will take over theater stages between March 8 and 31

Mujeres en Vivo celebrates its fifth edition maintaining the philosophy that has always characterized this cycle: highlighting the presence and notoriety of women in the current music scene. A joint project of Madrid en Vivo and the General Directorate of Equality of the Community of Madrid (Department of Family, Youth and Social Policy) , which have always advocated for equality within the live music circuit. The total of 72 proposals that make up its programming will take place between March 8 and 31, in 33 flamenco venues and tablaos in Madrid . Although its lineup is predominantly made up of concerts , Mujeres en Vivo 2024 will also offer microtheater and flamenco shows by FLAMENCO CAPITAL . You can consult them in full in the agenda.
Mujeres en Vivo 2024 begins its journey, as it could not be otherwise, on Friday, March 8 , International Women's Day . A date in which we find a large number of proposals, among which is the crossroads between R&B and pop of Patricia Lint + La Pains in Cadavra , The Clams in El Intruso proving to be one of the most soul groups. solids from all over the country, the presentation of Rheia Gorecki + Grima at Moby Dick , or the fresh flamenco fusion proposal of Blanca La Almendrita at Tempo Audiophile Club . On Saturday the 9th, the rhythm does not stop with proposals from the alternative scene such as Today's Tuesday in Cadillac Solitario or Lea Leone in Fotomatón , and the more urban ones, such as Machete in Boca in Insomnio , or the one closest to the pop of Ali Abellán + Carmen Lillo in Morocco . To close an intense first weekend, the series brings us proposals such as the dancing spirit of Andina Melo Dupak, Luana Rubin and Atenea Toro in Essential Flamenco by Torero , or the inspiring and evocative jazz of María Parra Trío in Villanos .
The second week of Mujeres en Vivo 2024 brings us a first date on Wednesday the 13th with the indie-folk of Rivers & Suns at Café La Palma . On Thursday the 14th , Fitasha 's fresh neo-soul proposal will permeate the Moe stage, and the heels of dancer Paula Rodríguez will delight the audience in the flamenco show at Tablao 1911 . The weekend starts with two very young, but very recognized and recognizable proposals on Friday the 15th : the Latin jazz of Qubartet in El Despertar , and the flamenco repertoire with which Las Jipas have triumphed on networks, live, on Vesta . The cañí rock of Las Jaleo also has a flamenco touch, who will be at Fun House on Saturday the 16th , the night in which Daydreams will do the best tribute to The Cranberries at Honky Tonk . The voice and guitar of Pati Pérez-Laorga in Siroco will begin the third week of Mujeres en Vivo 2024 on Wednesday, March 20 . On Thursday the 21st , one of the great promises of the indiepop scene, Marinita Precaria , will show off her characteristic elegant satirical humor in El Sol . We can also consider promises, but from punk to Muletes Enfadados who will also be on the 21st in Maravillas . On Libertad 8 we can enjoy the naked songs of Inés de Lis and Maddy O'Brienn on Thursday. On Friday the 22nd, the cycle has very diverse proposals, among them, the pop of Natalia Gil in Fulanita de Tal , and the vocal jazz of Jazz Sisters in Hangar 48 . Mujeres en Vivo 2024 faces its last week from Wednesday the 27th with proposals such as that of Olaia Inziarte in Clamores , or Gloria Wasmer 's violin as the protagonist of the Cardamomo flamenco painting. On Thursday the 28th , Microteatro 's second proposal withQuiero Ser Como Clooney , an express comedy. El Rincón del Arte Nuevo is one of the venues on Saturday, March 30 with Cristina Insa and Vcode + Inma Serrano . The finishing touch to Mujeres en Vivo 2024 is provided by a historic jazz duo, Laura Simó & Ignasi Terraza Trio , remembering Together Again , who will pay tribute to the iconic Tete Montoliu from Friday the 29th to Sunday the 31st at Café Central .
