More than 30 halls, flamenco tablaos and musical theaters welcome and promote women's art in the Mujeres en Vivo festival, which will be held between March 8 and 31, with the collaboration of the Community of Madrid.

Mujeres en Vivo celebrates its fourth edition maintaining the spirit that has always characterized this festival: highlighting the importance of women in the current music scene. A joint project of Madrid en Vivo and the General Directorate for Equality of the Community of Madrid (Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Policy) , who have always advocated for equality within the live music circuit. The total of 75 cultural proposals that make up its program will take place between March 8 and 31, in 31 halls, musical theaters and flamenco tablaos in Madrid . Although its poster is predominantly made up of concerts, at Mujeres en Vivo 2023 you can also enjoy monologues, micro-theater, and flamenco shows and theater . On March 8, the opening day coinciding with International Women's Day, it begins with a copious amount of proposals among which are the very personal interpretation of Edith Salazar 's boleros at Café Berlín , the indi-folk of Brinks & Freschard in Fotomatón , or the warm jazzy voice of Ere Serrano in Rincón del Arte Nuevo . Silvia Marsó and her duo with the Del Toro Blues Band also give off warmth, who will be at Galileo Galilei on Thursday, March 9, when the most intimate will be able to enjoy singer-songwriters of the caliber of Nadia Álvarez, Virginia Maestro, Helena Poza or Patricia Lázaro in Insomnia .

Cadavra will be one of the venues that will open the weekend with the Silencio Casi concert on Friday, March 10. For Saturday, Mujeres en Vivo proposes a flamenco theater session with Lorca 's Gypsy Ballads performed and directed by Mónica Tello at the Tablao Torero Theater . Thursday the 16th brings us concerts by talented young people like Mayte González , who will be at El Despertar , or LYD , who will present their songs at Fulanita de Tal .
