Today, April 23, the city of Madrid will become the epicenter of literature and culture, commemorating Book Day in an event that promises to satisfy the appetites of the most avid readers and enthusiasts of the written word.

The celebration, which aims to pay tribute to great writers such as Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare and Garcilaso de la Vega, according to UNESCO's proposal in 1995, will have a wide range of activities for all ages and tastes.

And although the official day is April 23 , many of the events and activities will be available from April 19, extending until the 21st, Sunday, and repeating the following weekend, from April 26 to 28.
The different districts of Madrid, such as Vicálvaro, Chamberí, Carabanchel and Usera, among others, have developed their own programs for the 2024 Book Fair, adding cultural and literary diversity that promises to satisfy all tastes.
