MADRID PREPARES FOR THE MOST SOLIDARITY-BASED “SANTA CLAUS RACE”
2024/12/19

On December 22, the “Carrera de Santa Claus El Corte Inglés” returns to the streets of Madrid to celebrate its thirteenth edition with a circuit of approximately 5 km with start and finish on Paseo de Recoletos.

Around 9,000 “Mums and Dads” (girls and boys) will take part in the race, a race designed to be enjoyed with family and friends and to start celebrating Christmas in the most sporting way. Once the race is over, participants will be able to go to the photocall where Santa Claus will collect letters from the little ones.

Registration includes a complete Santa Claus suit with jacket, trousers, hat and belt, and costs €14.95 for individuals. There are also special prices for family registrations.

From each registration, €1 will go to the Red Cross' “Positive Raising” project to promote child well-being by supporting and accompanying families in situations of social vulnerability.

In addition, people who cannot participate in the race will be able to purchase a Dorsal 0 to help those affected by the DANA in Valencia. The money raised will go towards the work of the Red Cross with emergency aid on the ground.
