Madrid is preparing for FITUR 2026, the major international tourism event

Madrid is once again at the center of the world tourism map with the arrival of FITUR 2026 , the International Tourism Fair, which will be held from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 January 2026 at IFEMA Madrid .

For five days, the capital will host thousands of professionals from the tourism sector, institutions, national and international destinations, technology companies and visitors interested in learning about the latest trends in travel, sustainability, innovation and leisure experiences.

The professional sessions will take place from January 21 to 23 , while on the weekend of January 24 and 25 the fair will open its doors to the general public, offering a unique opportunity to discover new destinations, cultural and gastronomic proposals and personalized travel experiences.

This edition focuses on responsible tourism, the digitalization of the sector and the creation of more human and sustainable experiences, reinforcing Madrid's role as a host city for major international events at the start of the year.
