Madrid is preparing to experience one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year: MUSIC DAY 2024. From Wednesday June 19 to Sunday June 23, 20 Madrid en Vivo venues will offer twenty concerts, exhibiting the diversity and richness of the scene current musical. This event is a unique opportunity to enjoy music at its best: live.
Every June 21, we celebrate European Music Day, a date that highlights the cultural exchange between artists and audiences through music. This year, Madrid will commemorate it with a program that covers genres such as rock, jazz, indie, metal, pop, flamenco, hip-hop, songwriting and urban. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19
The celebration begins with a performance by Dominican musician Alex Ferreira at El Sol, known for his defense of Latin American songs and his experimental spirit. At Galileo Galilei, Blanca Altable and neønymus will present their genuine projects that promise to surprise the public. Furthermore, at the Tablao Torero, the Essential Flamenco show directed by Juan El Mistela will allow us to enjoy FLAMENCO CAPITAL.
THURSDAY, JUNE 20
Women will be the protagonists of the second day. Sylvia Wild , along with Miriam Faiq and Paula Merino , will bring her unmistakable style to Hangar 48. Ariadna Redondo will offer a sensory experience in Fulanita de Tal, while in Maravillas, the emerging projects Ruidos De Moto and Life On The Mars will showcase her talent.
FRIDAY, JUNE 21ST
Friday the 21st, the epicenter of MUSIC DAY, will feature a variety of notable performances. Antonio Reyes and Joni Jiménez will bring the purest flamenco to Café Berlin. Moby Dick will welcome young promises such as Patricia Lint , Elena Mesa , Adriana Terrén and Nenúfar . Lea Leone will perform at Fotomatón Bar, and Quinteto Espirales Cuba will bring their unique sound to El Sótano. Rockbottom will play at Moe, and Belo will perform at Rincón del Arte Nuevo.
SATURDAY, JUNE 22
From Italy, guitarist Pietro Balletrero and his trio will explore Mediterranean sounds in El Despertar. Zirconita will premiere new songs at Café La Palma, while MONK (Music of New Karartekas) will present Live in Yokohama at Tempo Audiophile Club. Metal will be represented by Pistol Sounds , Embers Of Pride and Unbound on Silikona.
SUNDAY, JUNE 23
The closing of MUSIC DAY will be on Sunday the 23rd with three unmissable proposals. The Canal Street Jazz Band will bring a piece of New Orleans to Clamores. The talented Genboo will perform in El Intruso, and Loloces will close the cycle with her author project in Búho Real.
