  • Mahou Cinco Estrellas proposes touring the district of the capital trying its most iconic dishes paired with the best beer flavor

  • The initiative offers 26 gastronomic proposals until March 26

The gastronomic quality offered by the neighborhoods of the capital continues unstoppable. Aware of this, Mahou returns with Madrid Se Come , the gastronomic route created to promote meetings around the table, and which on this occasion reaches the Arganzuela neighborhood.

The initiative has become an essential event for the city, where you can get to know the districts of the capital in a different way, uniting gastronomy and beer culture. While on previous occasions it was the turn of neighborhoods such as Salamanca, El Retiro or Plaza España, in this edition the initiative moves to the south, specifically to Arganzuela, at the foot of Madrid Río. An area with a great gastronomic and leisure offer that is increasingly busy.

Where and when to enjoy Madrid Se Come

The initiative will take place between March 2 and 26. During those days, 26 bars and restaurants will put their kitchens to work to offer the best gastronomic proposals, paired with Mahou Cinco Estrellas, with options for all tastes with a final price of between €11 and €20 .

It will be an opportunity to try the best and most appetizing dishes from the bars and restaurants in the area together with two thirds of Mahou Cinco Estrellas to create an even better experience. Among the proposals that the people of Madrid can find are restaurants such as Ultramarín with its torreznos cooked at low temperature with lemon zest, El Rosario Restaurant with its Cabrales candies with honey ice cream, Alma Chelli Matadero with its mussels from the Ría with yellow curry and coconut milk or La Tarara Vermutería , which offers scrambled potatoes from Extremadura with an Iberian secret.

The gastronomic route was inaugurated on Thursday, March 2 to kick off Madrid Se Come through the Arganzuela neighborhood; presentation attended by hoteliers from collaborating bars and restaurants, and personalities representing the city council such as Almudena Maillo, City Council Tourism delegate, or Cayetana Hernández de la Riva, councilor president of the district of Arganzuela.
