What does Madrid sound like? To everything. This is demonstrated by the concert halls throughout the year and will be catalyzed between December 1 and 16 by the Sonido Madrid en Vivo 23 cycle, organized by Madrid en Vivo with the collaboration of Mahou.

After the great reception by the public of the first edition of Sonido Madrid en Vivo, Mahou and Madrid en Vivo present Sonido Madrid en Vivo 23 . The key to the success of this musical cycle lies in a very simple reason: the public's empathy with the musical variety offered by Madrid's concert halls , and Mahou's clear commitment to supporting live music . Continuing with its intact philosophy, Sonido Madrid en Vivo 23 welcomes and represents all the music that our city and its cultural wealth bring together: alternative pop, jazz, rock, flamenco, fusion, urban, indie, blues, hip-hop, signature song …Combining in its programming musicians and bands contrasted with new talents on the scene who are knocking loudly on the doors of success. 22 concerts that can be enjoyed between Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 16 in 22 venues in Madrid Live .

The first stop of Sonido Madrid on Vivo 23 transports us to Louisiana, to the aroma of blues, with funk and soul spices of Ale Gators , at El Intruso on Friday, December 1 . Completing the opening day is Cayo Largo , the 80's rock band that returned renewed in 2016, and they will demonstrate their new vitality in Rockville . Taking over on Saturday the 2nd is the young musician Michael Foster at El Sótano , who has managed to give his signature music the most contemporary productions, with a unique personality. Same date that the band Suena Jaleo will be presenting their new songs on Vesta . GoldB can also boast youth, Maravillas ' proposal for Sunday the 3rd , which on its 10th anniversary continues to support artists who have something to say on the scene. They have already said a lot, but much more will be said in the future, and specifically in El So l on Tuesday, December 5, two bands more than established in the scene: Morning Drivers and Vuelo Fidj i .

Giving way to the second week of the cycle, Piccadilly will take us to the clouds with their music at Contraclub on Thursday the 7th . The first flamenco event, but not the only one, comes from Fraderita in Clamores on Friday the 8th , with her modern vision of the jondo and rumba sound. Night that will continue with nothing more and nothing less than La Fiesta Flamenca del Tablao Torero , the first immersive flamenco experience. Saturday the 9th is one of those dates with concerts for all tastes: the hip hop of Íkaro Madrid at Café La Palma , the fresh blues of Noendy & The Noises , and the alternative rock of Destino Kuiper at BarCo . Closing the weekend on Sunday the 10th is the canonical blues of one of those illustrious groups on the Madrid scene: Red House Revival at Café Central . And Mondays are less of a Monday if we add a flamenco note to them, with the special performance 'Caño Roto en Navidad' that will overflow with traditional flamenco on the 11th .

The most urban and irreverent sounds come with two diamonds in the rough, 'Inspiring Girls Tour' , with Lara Taylor and Lashe , on Thursday the 14th at Hangar 48 . On the same Thursday, the lucky ones who have gotten a ticket will be able to see Carrera Blanca and Doplers live at Siroco , the first sold out of Sonido Madrid en Vivo 23 . But not the only one, because on Friday the 15th , Laura Ordoñez has also already sold out all the tickets for her concert at Fulanita de Tal . Luckily, on the 15th we also have in the cycle one of the most interesting and respected current flamenco figures: Diego Guerrero , who will put his fusion of flamenco and Latin sounds at the service of the public in Villanos , demonstrating the weight of the offer of FLAMECO CAPITAL . The third and final proposal from Friday the 15th is also weighty, with Jazz Magnetism & Escandaloso Xpósito recalling that titanic Kase O album, with the project band at Tempo Audiophile Club . And Sonido Madrid en Vivo ends its second edition with three proposals on Saturday, December 16 , giving the public three options to put the finishing touch to the cycle: Marcos del Valle in the Rincón del Arte Nuevo , Sat'n Shot in Cadillac Solitario , and Lucy + Chick Flick in The Back of the Car .
