Madrid presents Ñam Ñam Festival: gastronomy, culture and street experiences

This Tuesday, February 10th at 11:30 a.m. , at the San Antón Municipal Market (Calle Augusto Figueroa, 24, Madrid), the first independent international festival of gastronomic experiences, Ñam Ñam Festival , was officially presented.
The delegate for Economy, Innovation and Finance of the Madrid City Council, Engracia Hidalgo , accompanied by the councilor of the Centro district, Carlos Segura , participated in the presentation event where the details of this new initiative were revealed, which aims to "bring gastronomy to the streets with an innovative format full of experiences" .
What is Ñam Ñam Festival
Ñam Ñam Festival is defined as a festival of gastronomic experiences, art, music, humor and design , promoted by Tapas Magazine and Spainmedia and with the institutional support of the Madrid City Council, the Community of Madrid and sponsors such as Mahou.
The festival will offer a multidisciplinary format that combines cooking, culture and entertainment with culinary demonstrations, workshops, talks, live music, art spaces, participatory activities and high-level gastronomic offerings from both national and international sources.
This festival, in addition to being a gastronomic celebration, represents support for the network of municipal markets in Madrid, considered an emblem of local culinary culture and an economic engine of the city.
Place and dates
The event will take place on May 9 and 10, 2026 , on the esplanade of the Puente del Rey (Madrid Río) , with multiple themed areas and experiences designed for all audiences.
Among the planned attractions are the “Infinite Table” , conceived as a social and culinary meeting point, spaces with signature cuisine, special bars, VIP areas and a full agenda that includes everything from market cuisine to cutting-edge international proposals.
